Maybe you've heard of it, maybe not. But online personal training is taking the fitness world by storm. While the traditional idea of personal training is a one-on-one session inside a local gym, online personal training allows you to be anywhere in the world at anytime and still utilise your customised fitness plan.
While I do offer in-person training sessions, I also love creating customised programmes for clients to complete on their own time wherever they like. Some do a full programme at home using some basic equipment, others utilise a local gym or a gym at the office. In any case, they receive my professional personal training guidance and programme creation.

Get Started With Online Personal Training
Every fitness instructor will have a unique method, but here's how online personal training works with me. First, I ask you to fill out a questionnaire aimed toward figuring out your fitness history, your fitness goals, and your scheduling options. Once you've answered those easy questions, you can schedule your Skype assessment with me.
Using my online scheduling program, you can book your date and time immediately - no need to email me and then we have to go back and forth until we find a free time slot. No. This whole idea of online personal training is to make your fitness a priority, not a pain in the...butt. Although, you might feel some soreness after a session, I'm not trying to cause you pain!
During our Skype assessment I'll ask more in-depth questions based on your submitted questionnaire. This will help guide us both toward defining your fitness goals, creating a realistic and pragmatic programme, and get you started at your own pace. Our chat is also just a chance for us to get to know each other. I'm not a nameless robot sending out generic information to everyone...I'm here as your personal trainer. I'm here for you, as an individual. So it's important that you feel comfortable calling or messaging me whenever you might need some help or additional guidance. I'm always available!
How Does Online Personal Training Work?
Once we've done our assessment and we both feel comfortable with your fitness goals and schedule, I'll create your programme for your first two weeks of training. Each week, we'll do a quick check-in to see how you're feeling and how the programme is going. If we need to adjust anything, no problem. If you feel like the programme is too hard or too easy, we can fix that easily, too. We can check in however you'd like: email, text, Skype, even Facebook. Whatever is easiest for you is what works for me. Again, this is about making your fitness a priority, but doing so as conveniently as possible for you.
By the time you finish Week 2, you'll have the next two weeks of training in your inbox. Again, any updates or changes that need to be made can be made at anytime - don't be afraid to reach out!
As this is a 6-week programme, you'll wrap up with weeks 5 and 6 and then we'll do another Skype assessment to see where you're at with your goals, how you're feeling about the programme, and where you're going next. If you want to continue with additional training, that's easy. If you feel like I've provided the tools you needed to continue on your own, that's fine, too. Whenever you reach another plateau or just need more inspiration, you can always come back for more online personal training programmes. You know where to find me (well, virtually, at least)!
